Mexican food is something I eat semi religiously, here's my top picks for if I am in the mood for queso and tacos!
Baja Burrito has been in Nashville for many, many years. Although they do have a menu you can order from, I highly recommend going down the line and crafting your own burrito.
Cilantro, over on 8th Ave, is a traditional American Mexican food experience. Although it's exactly what you expect when you arrive at a Mexican restaurant, it never fails to be one of the best options around.
Saint Anejo, of the revered MStreet restaurants, is the exact quality that you'd expect of it's siblings: Virago and Moto. Expect a high end dining experience that will not disappoint.
Redheaded Stranger has some of the coolest and fun tacos I have ever had, and I know that's an absurd sentence. But please, just wait until you try the Tater Tot Taco.
Taqueria del Sol, over on 8th, has made a wonderful name for itself serving some of my favorite and unique tacos around. I really suggest the fried chicken taco or the hamburger taco!
