Some of Nashville’s lesser known spots that really give the city personality.
Hand down one of Nashville’s best taco spots, if you don’t mind paper plates. It’s a humble space, but the food speaks for itself.
A true classic bar that is perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio or a cold evening surrounded with friends. Right next to Mitchell Deli, it pairs well with a good sammy.
Of course, Mitchell holds the title of the best Deli in Nashville in my opinion. All local ingredients, plus one secret ingredient—East Nashville style.
The best spot for ice cream in Nashville. It is like going back in time to pickup dessert in 1965. Sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, floats. You just can’t beat it.
A bright and airy space with artisan bagels and breakfast. It is off the beaten path for some, but well worth the journey out.
A small house converted into an antique, boutique, and tea shop. Make reservations ahead of time to enjoy dine-in tea service.
A humble live music room in the Five Points neighborhood. This is where you go when you just want to sit back and listen.
A uniquely bright, aesthetic, and quirky piano bar. It makes a great spontaneous date.
The best spots in Nashville seem to always start as food trucks. This is no exception. Donuts, mimosas, spiked shakes, and live music. Need I say more?
Tucked in the ever growing and changing Houston-Station, Dozen has some of Nashville’s best baked goods. The best word to describe it? Fresh.
