Nashville has cafes down to a science, while all great, there are many types of establishments with different vibes. Here is a collection of my without a doubt favorite options around town.
Portland Brew has made a name for itself in the 12th South area for a very long time. Although relatively quaint compared to some of it's neighbors, this traditional pick has remained the same for well over 10 years.
Phat Bites is a cool and colorful little spot where bands will frequently play. If you're looking for a more exciting option, Phat Bites is for you!
SideKicks is another traditional cafe with tons of tea and coffee choices. Although I have not personally tried the food, if it's anything like the atmosphere or beverages; it will not disappoint!
Tempo is a hip little cafe with tons of great food options. You have to try the breakfast taco, but if you'd like to relax and do some work -- it is an equally great option.
If you happen to be staying in Nashville at the Courtyard, you have to stop by the bistro. Even as a local, I find myself dipping in here every now and again to start my mornings.
