Nashville, known for it's incredibly vast cultures, has a wonderful amount of cool murals to check out around the city. This list is meant to pay homage to some of the works of art you will find scattered across our city.
The classic, perhaps the one that started it all. The "I Believe In Nashville" mural signifies the Nashville floods in origin, but has evolved to be so much more to the average Nashville resident. It wouldn't be a mural list without this one.
Nashville Looks Good On You Mural, one of two in existence. This one is located behind the Frothy Monkey over on 12th Ave. Another must see mural for the perfect Nashville Instagram moment.
Over in the Gulch, you can find the WhatLiftsYou Wings Mural. Renowned for it's line due to sheer popularity, it will be well worth the wait for your moment
The Drippy Lips mural by Drawbertson is another fantastic piece of art located by UAL on 21st Ave. A very busy and stylized mural of many lips dripping down a wall, creating a patterned, great experience for photography or observation.
This mural, by Ty Christian, is located in German Town. It depicts a young boy whose face is made up of many skin colors, highlighting unity in diversity. Something that makes Nashville, Nashville.
This piece pays homage to the wonderful artist Jessi Zazu who was tragically lost at a young age due to cancer. This beautiful artwork is a portrait of Jessi, beautifully stylized with highly colorful accents.
The Silo Mural, located in the Nations, is one of Nashville's most popular murals. A sprawling and tall depiction of Lee Estes looking up to the sky, creates a wonderful and awe inspiring scene to behold.
The Nashville Quilt, by WHAT creative group, is a very unique moral. Over on West End, with a backdrop of unique colors and designs, there are striking squares that rise in front of the background depicting colorful scenes.
