Best Music Venues

Looking for a concert in Music City? These are my favorite venues for good music and good vibes.

Marathon Music Works

Marathon was once a booming car manufacturer. Now it's once of the coolest venues in town, with an industrial aesthetic and hosting some of the best small to medium sized bands.

Bridgestone Arena

Bridgestone is where you will find all of the biggest artists performing. Home of the Nashville Predators, its a massive arena only for the biggest packed out shows.

Ascend Amphitheater

One of the newest venues in Nashville, Ascend is the perfect spot for a summer concert. A beautiful open amphitheater, it is second only to Bridgestone in hosting some of Nashville's biggest concerts.

Ryman Auditorium

Ryman is the most historic place to catch your favorite artists. Renowned for its acoustics, the 130-year-old church hosts artists big and small.

Schermerhorn Symphony Center

Architecturally stunning, the Symphony Center is more a place to catch a classical concert rather than a rock show, but they have the occasional pop artist too. It's they best for Christmas shows.

Cannery Ballroom

Cannery is a great small venue to see local budding artists and smaller groups. Like Marathon, it has an industrial vibe.

EXIT/IN

A very small venue on Elliston Place in West End, EXIT/IN is more of a grungy concert venue featuring smaller artists of all genres.

Grand Ole Opry

A must-see for tourists in Nashville, the Grand Ole Opry is known for its historic platform for early country music. It features some of the biggest country stars in town.

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville

Brooklyn Bowl is one of the newest spots in Nashville. Located in Germantown, it has a standing-room-only style indoor amphitheater. Before the show, you can go bowling too.
